I think these would be the last few of my very simple Christmas craft/decoration ideas as I want to move on to getting some Christmas presents ready before I run out of time. So it’s going to be lots of planning in the next few days to work out what I’m going to make and for whom…
take a plain wreath, add some poinsettias, pinecones and a bit of ribbon and you have your very own Christmas wreath
I got the letters from a craft shop
dressed them up with jute string, a few artificial berries and some nice green chiffon ribbon… just nice for the season — Joy to the world!
upcycling unwanted publications
I folded the pages to make the book look like a tree, then the messy bit came next – put some glue on the edge of the “tree” and dusted with glitters, then lastly added gold string tied into a bow and a button on the top — mini Christmas trees
I did this last year, my rustic way of dressing up the presents and with “upcycling” and “reuse” in mind — toilet roll holders as gift boxes, newspaper as gift wraps and made into adornments, jute string and a little bit of “normal” Christmas gift wrap to tie them all together and lastly, Christmas greeting cards recycled into gift tags…
sheet music pasted on heart-shaped cards – as gift tags or simple decorations
Hope you like them! Bye for now.
