What a Monday! Amidst the numerous operational challenges at work we experienced a 5-hour blackout in the city this afternoon and it was absolutely horrendous when you run a hotel. On my way home after work, the post-blackout traffic was almost pushing me to the limit and I was just glad that I made it home in one piece after a long and stressful day.
When I eventually settled down to unwind, I realised that although it had been a very tiring day, my feathers were unceremoniously ruffled and I am now blogging with my splints on, still there are lots of things to be thankful for and I am learning to praise God in all circumstances!
Psalm 150:1 – 6
1 Praise the Lord.
Praise God in his sanctuary;
praise him in his mighty heavens.
2 Praise him for his acts of power;
praise him for his surpassing greatness.
3 Praise him with the sounding of the trumpet,
praise him with the harp and lyre,
4 praise him with tambourine and dancing,
praise him with the strings and pipe,
5 praise him with the clash of cymbals,
praise him with resounding cymbals.
6 Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.
Praise the Lord.
